Need a boost with Pronouns?

These important little words are difficult to master and use correctly for English speakers, and a thorough treatment of them doesn't usually appear in courses until higher levels.

Pronouns 3-hr: This is a single-session, 3-hr workshop suitable for students who have completed Upper Elementary 1, or around one year of Spanish.

This workshop is directed at students of Upper Elementary 1 and upwards. This short and informative session gives a summary and practice of the basics of the following pronoun topics:

• Personal subject pronouns - yo, tú, usted, él, ella, nosotros/as, vosotros/as, ustedes, ellos, ellas
• Direct object pronouns - me, te, lo, la, nos, os, los, las
• Indirect object pronouns - me, te, le, nos, os, les

Pronouns 7.5-hr: This is a 7.5-hour course over 5 weeks suitable for students of Lower Intermediate 1 and upwards, giving an in-depth look at those difficult little words, with a lot of practice of course! It is quite comprehensive and encompasses the material covered in the Pronouns 3-hr (described above), and a lot more.

Explanations as well as exercises for practice are given on the following pronoun topics:

• Personal subject pronouns - yo, tú, usted, él, ella, nosotros/as, vosotros/as, ustedes, ellos, ellas
• Direct object pronouns - me, te, lo, la, nos, os, los, las
• Indirect object pronouns - me, te, le, nos, os, les
• Use of the direct and indirect object pronouns together - me lo, te la, se los, nos las, os lo, se la, and lots more!
• Confusion between direct and indirect pronouns
• Use of the direct and indirect object pronouns with the infinitive, imperative (command) and the gerund (progressive participle, -ing)
• Reflexive and reciprocal pronouns - me, te, se, nos, os, se
• Personal pronouns used with prepositions - de mí, de ti, conmigo, contigo, por él, para ella, a nosotros, and more
• Possessive pronouns - mi, tu, su, nuestro/a, vuestro/a, su
