Course Descriptions - Spanish for Travel
is for those who are about to travel to Spain or Latin America and who wish to acquire basic survival communication skills such as numbers, requests, asking directions, hotel and food vocabulary and other everyday needs, with some useful cultural background as well. We will be using audio-visual, and real materials.
This course doubles as a "taster," for those who might like to see if language study is something they'd like to do.
No text is required to be purchased, as materials are included in the course fee. We assume that you would be taking a phrasebook with you on your trip. However we do recommend the following CD/book for students who would like to listen to Spanish:
