El Patio Spanish Language School

Spanish Language School

How do you choose a language school?

  1. Check that the school has a syllabus for your course. Normally for beginner or introductory courses you can get away without a textbook, but if you want to really learn the language, a textbook is necessary.
  2. Check the qualifications of the teachers, for example, do they have apropriate teacher-training and experience?
  3. Price generally reflects what you get in a language course. A course fee may seem too good to be true – in the end it probably is.
  4. Check that the course has continuity or pathway to further study if that’s what you’re after.
  5. Is your study in a course supported by features such as flexibility if you can’t make a class, study help, follow-up if you can’t make a class?
  6. Have you received any recommendations from students from a particular school? Or recommendations from a University, the consulate or anyone from the community?
What's your level?
